What professional development requirements does a school in Missouri need to meet?
Each district shall adopt a policy for youth suicide awareness and prevention, including plans for how the district will provide training and education of its district employees.
Though not required by state statute or code, it is recommended for school systems in Missouri to provide teachers ongoing professional learning addressing the nature and needs of gifted students and designing curriculum and instruction to meet those needs.
